The KTM Blogging Competition

Blogging, one of the most powerful types of social networking, is sadly not as popular in Nepal as it is in the West. The KTM Blog Competition is a platform for Nepal’s youth to start being heard.

When you blog, your opinion matters. It makes you open to criticism. It makes you responsible for your ideas. And oh… there’s always that part where you share your mad writing/ photography/ technical skills with the world! If you’ve always wanted to start speaking out, share your photographs, or build the capacity of a club/ NGO you’re involved with than this is your chance.

How it works:
DEC 22 – JAN 5 Create your own blog and enter the first post (or Post your new blog post on your own blog after or on the 22 December 2012.
• You must notify us of your URL at freebloggers2012@gmail.com so we can monitor your progress and re-blog your post onto the Central Blog- ktmblogcomp.blogspot.com. You can see the Categories of the blog posts to view here.

JAN 6-9: The 3 winners (one from each category) will be announced! The winners should collect their swag (Women LEAD certificates and Google merchandise) from the Women LEAD office in Jawalakhel by 15th January
DEC 31 – JAN 31: KEEP BLOGGING! If you blog at least twice a week in January, a blogging expert from the Google Student Ambassadors program will give you a free consult on expanding your influence through improving your blog.
